Oral immunotherapy
Oral immunotherapy (OIT) involves desensitisation through gradual consumption of increasing amounts of a specific food allergen. It retrains the immune system to tolerate the food, and protects from life-threatening allergic reactions.
Treatment starts with daily up-dosing, and continues with a daily maintenance dose, which may eventually be reduced to weekly.
Our brand new approach
Our novel dosage manager replaces pull-apart capsules during the up-dosing phase of OIT.
Precise doses are delivered from allergen cartridges. The powder doses are then mixed into food and eaten.
The device enables much smaller dose increments, unconstrained by the fixed formulations of pull-apart capsules.
Dosage manager
Daily up-dosing
The dosing device enables daily up-dosing using tiny, daily dose increases.
This eliminates the large, fortnightly dose increases that cause more frequent and severe side effects.
Reduces treatment burden
Our approach eliminates the arduous 6 months of fortnightly visits to the doctor’s office. Instead, all dose increases can be taken at home.
This means that patients no longer need to take time out of work and school.
Doctors no longer need to block clinic space and staff for hours every two weeks.

Treatment tailored to each individual patient
Real-time monitoring of side effects and pre-programmed dose regimens aim to smooth the patient experience.
Frees up allergist time
Allergy doctors are busy.
Taking tiny dose increments at home eliminates the need for in-clinic supervision of large dose increases.
This frees up doctors’ time for higher value consultations and providing broader care for their patients.
